Batistuta: Florence’s Municipality is discussing the proposal of "high gratitude"

The culture & sport comission presented today, by the presence of the

assesor Eugenio Giani, the exam of the advanced proposal from councilmen

Giovani Varrasi & Bianca Maria Giocoli to carr a conference to the municipal

Council of high gratitude to Fiorentina’s ex-footbal player Gabriel Omar Batistuta

to represent the value of sport as a significant element of social culture

in the city. As such a proposal should be approved by general assent, the

Comission and councilmen have arranged to wait until listening to the

opinion of the leader conference to assume a definitive position in the

meeting of next thursday.
